How to use the Whole House Fan:
     The Whole House Fan is located in the upstairs hallway ceiling. The switch for the Whole House Fan  is in the upstairs hallway, just past the jog in the north wall. The pull chain hanging from the fan will change the fan speed. Two settings, low and high ... be gentle, weak switch.
    On the third floor the rooms have Transoms to allow the air to flow in through the bedroom windows and out through the fan. The fan also cools the attic, thus keeping the ceilings and house cooler.
    Keep the hall and front doors closed to help pull the air through the bedroom windows.
    The Fan is turned off and covered for the winter.
