many common area lights have automatic switches , if you see them flash green , they see you , if the light is on and it doesn't flash green the wall switch has overridden the sensor , If you override them please return them to auto when you leave the room , and please make a habit to turn off any non automatic light that you notice is on
Light bulbs are replaced when you move in , after that it's up to you to replace them , be careful with the globes , and please be careful of the walls when moving the ladder .
