Index
You have rented a room in a house with 15 other
nice people for a relatively short time.
We have tried to provide a nicer place than average for a lower rent
than most people in Boulder pay for a lesser home. But because of the number
of people in the house and the number of people over a relatively short
time using the room you are in, certain concerns must be considered, many
of which are discussed in this tenants
manual so please read it and your
lease to prevent frustration and unnecessary expense on
both our parts.
For all the people in this house to get along
together,
please be considerate to your
house mates, clean up after yourself, return
dishes (cleaned) quickly so others may use them,
there is a limited supply of utensils,
keep the bathrooms clean and do not leave your cloths in them after use,
pick up common areas when you leave the room so you don't forget to return
and do it.
Turn off lights when you leave a room.
Do not steal light bulbs from common areas,
leaving house mates in the dark.
Keep outside doors closed
to protect your house mates and their property from theft.
Keep noise down in the
mornings and evenings so early birds can get to sleep and the night owls
can sleep in. Be considerate to the person in rooms 7 and 8 who are just
off the kitchen and can here loud talking in the kitchen and pantry areas.
Take care not to damage the walls
when moving things, no bikes in the rooms, (bike
room only), do not attach anything to any wall
in the house, you may not use any paint in the house, we have used environmentally
friendly products in this house and there is nothing in this house you
may paint.
If your grandmother
would not approve, do not do it.
Basically use uncommon
sense in how you treat BroadviewHouse and your house mates.
We don't mean you can't live here, just remember others will and do
live here also. We all want a nice place to call home without having to
deal with other peoples messes, don't you feel
that way also?
