    Most room fans are run by a speed control near the room door , be sure not to switch the speed control on the fan it's self which should always be in the highest speed . A small switch on the side of the fan will change the direction of air flow it works best to blow the air down in the summer for a direct breeze and up on a lower speed in the winter to force the warm air back down to the floor .
    watch for any loose parts or bad shaking and report it before continuing use .
